On 6/26/14 the following complaint was received: Complainant indicated that many flies were present in the establishment. The complainant also mentioned that there was mouse feces behind the drink dispenser and apple slices in the unsweetened tea dispenser. The following is a summary of the observations and recommendations made during a site visit on 6/30/14. During my site visit I did not observe any mouse feces behind the drink dispenser or apple slices in the tea dispenser. Some flies were observed in the food preparation area, but the problem did not appear to be out of control at the time of my visit. The manager indicated that a private pest control company had recently treated the facility due to the presents of flies. In addition other insect control devices are being used. Effort should be made to maintain the area around the doors and windows clean on the inside and outside of the establishment. The trash cart is in poor repair and allows liquid to drain onto the ground. The cart should be replaced and stored away from the backdoor.
