PIC removed the bug sprays from the premises and reorganized the chemical storage to prevent any contamination of food articles, utensils.

Observation: Single-service items were observed reused for the storage of several food items (tomatoes, lettuce, onions) in the refrigerator and other storage areas..
Correction: Discontinue the reuse of single-use containers for storage. Provide approved reusable food storage containers designed for your food storage needs.

Observation: Containers of glass cleaner stored beside disposable gloves are not properly stored to prevent the contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens or single service items.
Correction: PIC re-arranged the storage of chemicals to prevent potential comtamination issues. Containers of glass cleaner and other chemicals must be located in an area that is not above food, equipment, utensils, linens or single service items.

Observation: Observed several cans of fly spray and insect spray for restaurant use. Restricted use pesticides do not meet the requirements in 40 CFR 152 Subpart 1 Classification of Pesticides
Correction: PIC stated that pest control operator serviced the restaurant once per month and that the cans of insect spray would be discarded. Utilize restricted use pesticides that meet the requirements in 40 CFR 152 Subpart 1 Classification of Pesticides
