Comments:
Facility ceased operations during fire inspection by Lieutenant of Richmond City Fire and Emergency Services at approximately 6;15 AM. A minor grease fire erupted in duct work for deep fat fryer bank and was put out shortly thereafter. Area was recommended to be thoroughly cleaned of grease and fire suppression system residue. Recommended regular maintenance of deep fat fryers and exhaust hood systems. Manager stated that exhaust hood personnel are coming out to reload fire suppression system and clean ducting for exhaust hood and other exhaust hood systems throughout the facility. EHS inspected facility and found no smoke damage. Any food that was exposed to smoke during fire was discarded. EHS allowed facility to reopen.
