You either love it or you just don't go. It has tons of tradition, great greasy burgers, corn on the cob dripping in butter (by by health freaks) and of course the steamers. Served in a bucket, you're immediately transported, mentally and emotionally to the beach and it's every man for themselves. I grew up on Nick's and have been going there for almost 60 years, and after a short period of time, where they tried adding to a very simple menu, and I do mean simple,it lost its appeal and customers, IT'S BACK and you sit down and feel like you're back in the 60's/70's. The owner is a bit grumpy and at least 3 times this summer they have run out of steamers, but it's worth the visit, that is unless you're paranoid of birds, who quietly hang around waiting for scraps, but then again, I guess the perfect one word to describe Greasy Nicks is scrappy or simplyUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
