Thank you for your time yesterday to discuss your plans for the Circleville Store in Taylor, Texas. Your construction plans will include new space for production/preparation, ware washing, storage and public restrooms. The Health District will need to review and approve your plans and intent of service for this new area. (Before our conversation yesterday, my impression was a remodel/refreshment of the current production/preparation, ware washing and restroom areas was planned.)
Indeed you are not in the jurisdiction of a city or its ETJ, but the OSSF and Retail Food Service components of your planned construction must be reviewed and approved by the Health District.
Please find attached the Retail Food Plan Review Application in response to your facility expansion. (Please complete this information as you have already begun the foundation construction.) The Team Lead for the Retail Food Program is Kay Kelley in Georgetown at 943-3620. The contact person for the OSSF program is Steve Gilmer located in the Environmental Health Services office in Georgetown at 943-3620.
