I am searching for the history of the airport. When was it built? When and why was Booker I Road changed to Airport Road?

Thank you for your assistance.

Once again, Fly By Knight premier flight school and airplane rental in Hammond LA comes through in sterling fashion. Needing last-minute VFR sectionals for Los Angeles CA, they were ordered and arrived in short order. This is one of those General Aviation places that sets high standards, and surpasses even those. Excellent work, Sharon and Steven! Thank you so much.

Does anyone remember who the mechanic was on the west side of the field in the late 1990's?
