In too deep...the futility of even trying to get out of debt is becoming much better defined as time passes...and even by controlling the use of my cards and paying my minimums;always on time...the drop in the total balance of debt is minor.
I'm currently paying $2244 a month in minimum payments...that's all I can pay..Yet,I was charged $1092 in interest...so that's only a reduction of $1152 from the previous month.
But $2244 is almost 57% of my take home pay...Every month...

Is the financial stress..is the stuff I keep hearing about people getting their rent raised by 40,50 0r 60%..people using 60-70% of their take home pay for rent or mortgage..Homeowner's Insurance in this area is obscene...$6-$7K a year if...
