All necessary control measures shall be used to effectively minimize or eliminate the presence of rodents, roaches, and other vermin and insects on the premises of all food establishments, in food-transporting vehicles, and in vending machines. OBSERVED 5 LIVE HOUSE FLIES INSIDE OF THE PREP AREA. ALSO OBSERVED APPROX. 20 RAT DROPPINGS IN THE GARAGE AREA WHERE THE WALK-IN COOLER IS LOCATED. THE DOOR TO THE GARAGE AND THE WALK-IN COOLER DOOR IS NOT RODENT PROOFED. OBSERVED A 1/2' GAP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO RODENT PROOF THE DOOR TO THE GARAGE AND THE WALK-IN COOLER. MUST CLEAN UP THE RAT DROPPINGS IN THE GARAGE. ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS NEEDED TO ELIMINATE THE PEST ACTIVITY. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-020.
INSTALL A HAND SOAP DISPENSER ON THE WALL NEXT TO THE EXPOSED HANDSINK IN THE PREP AREA.
INSTALL DRAIN LINE HOSES TO THE SODA GUN HOLDERS AT THE BAR AREA AND ROUTE TO A FLOOR DRAIN.
All parts of the food establishment and all parts of the property used in connection with the operation of the establishment shall be kept neat and clean and should not produce any offensive odors. MUST REMOVE WOOD IN AND AROUND THE GARAGE TO PREVENT RODENT HARBORAGE. SEAL OPENINGS IN THE CEMENT ALONG THE OUTSIDE WALL OF THE GARAGE. MAINTAIN THE GARBAGE AREA IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE DOOR.
The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair. THE FLOOR IN THE WALK-IN COOLER IS NOT SMOOTH AND EASILY CLEANABLE. THE FLOOR IS BUCKLED. MUST REPLACE SHEET METAL ON FLOOR.
The walls and ceilings shall be in good repair and easily cleaned. REPAIR THE DRYWALL WALLS IN THE GARAGE DOOR.
