TSSP&S 265.191 (Eff Oct 1, 1999) - Surface Skimming & Perimeter Overflow (Gutter) Systems, pages 41 & 42; TDSPSPC 337.84-85 (Eff Jun 13, 1965). Surface overflow devices in new pools shall be designed, constructed, installed, maintained and operated to comply with all applicable provisions of the City of Fort Worth Ordinances and the State Standard.
Surface skimmer or parts are missing, broken, damaged or not maintained. Weirs are not functioning properly and/are missing.
Corrective action: Damaged or missing skimmer systems or overflow devices or parts (weirs, covers, baskets, etc.) shall be repaired or replaced.
- Operation and Management
TSSP&S 265.203 (Eff Oct 1, 1999) - Operation and Management, pages 64 - 66 and FW Ordinance #12156-Sec 16.459-462 (Sep 12, 1995). Pool/spa operators and managers shall operate and manage all pools and spas to comply with City of Fort Worth Ordinances and the State Standard.
At least one Nationally Accredited or Trained pool/spa operator is not available.
Corrective action: Pools and spas shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a Nationally Accredited or Trained pool/spa operator who is responsible for the sanitation, safety and proper maintenance of the pool/spa and all physical and mechanical equipment and records.

Corrective action: When open, water quality tests for disinfectant level and pH at Class C & D pools and spas at Class C facilities shall be conducted at least once per day or more often if necessary to assure proper disinfectant and pH levels. If an automatic control system for disinfectant and pH is in place, disinfectant and pH levels must be measured at least once each day.

The pump suction (vacuum) gauge is not properly maintained.
Corrective action: A pump suction (vacuum) gauge shall be properly maintained.
- Waste Water Disposal
TSSP&S 265.196 (Eff Oct 1, 1999) - Waste Water Disposal, page 48; TDSPSPC 337.77 (Eff Jun 13, 1965) and FW Ordinance #12156-Sec 16.459-462 (Sep 12, 1995). Waste water shall be released in compliance with TCEQ requirements, City of Fort Worth Ordinances and the State Standard.
There is a direct mechanical connection between the wastewater disposal system and a drain or recirculation system.
Corrective action: Backwash or drain water shall be discharged through an air gap at least two times the diameter of the discharge pipe located above the overflow level. A splash screen barrier can be used to prevent water splashing.
