I took this picture last year... Mostly you will see people in carharts, bunny boots, and the like. (speaking from Fairbanks) But for some occasions, people DO bust out the fur..

Its a work in progress blue. But that depends on the type of girl, or type of encounter he wants to get out of it.... you never know

Forget coats. If I had a bunch of nice fur pelts, I would sleep wrapped up in them, fur side IN!

So, where is the best place to get such things here? I really would love a nice fur throw, and would love even more to make my own, but I suspect that takes specialized skills and equipment.

I also want a wolverine ruff!

Visit David Green's on 4th ave in Anchorage !!

The other two places that sell furs on 4th ave belong to a mexican family -

Alaska Fur Exchange on Tudor and Old Seward

Lots of places to buy fur... or have them made to your specifications!!

Well dug up my sealskin hat with Black beaver trim. Can't wear it at zero and warmer, way too hot, but now the temps have dropped to subzero it will be a welcome addition to the winter wear!

It was made for me by a friend out in Dillingham about 12 years ago as a gift, have never had a warmer hat for the cold!

I know exactly what you mean by your head getting to hot. My beaver hat is only used when it exceeds - 40 below and colder; then it is a must to have.

Toasty warm all day outside in brutal weather makes it so much more fun!!
