Yeah the lens flare or what ever the name for those color spots make for a spectacular shot in the checking the net Warpt. And it seems your grossbeaks have more red in them than ours around our house. Weird.

Looking down Meals Street toward the harbor.

Visitors center.

"Downtown" Valdez and one of the snow piles.

The central park strip in town, which in the winter is a snow dump. The sign is about 6 feet high.

One of the playgrounds in the park. Top of the swing set is at knee-level.

My street.

The electric company.

Landshark's bar and No Name Pizza.

My friends' dog playing in their front yard.

"Friend's dog playing in their front yard." Lol. So nonchalantly calling a 10-foot snowbank a front yard. Neat to see how they nailed that board there to keep the snow pile off the stoop. I have GOT to go to Valdez. I've never seen a place that looked like more of a "winter paradise", with all the huge snow piles, completely chalk-white mountains, it's unreal. I'm sure it's a tough place to live sometimes, but you are one very, very lucky person, in my most humble of opinions.
