What others have said. You can't claim your employer's address on the Slope as your residence.

ETA I didn't read the whole thing. You say your permanent residence is in Anchorage, as in a home you own or rent there? You might be able to pull it off, idk.

Depending on what state it is it could still be favorable to claim AK as our income tax will likely be small. BTW tax avoidance strategys are not wrong. Who wants money legally stolen from them, no one that's who.
