Rance, I like a 2 on and 2 off myself...especially if the first and last day are travel days that count as work. But I'm looking at 3 on and 2 off soon, not crazy about that but what the hell.

Well, I did turn down a job recently that was 6 on 2 off---just didn't appeal and I couldn't see myself doing that for more than a few months without going bat****. They didn't provide transportation expenses either.
