hahaha. ITS SO FAR AWAY
It scares me too. But I think it is because I think too much about it. It would be nice too meet up with a few others and drive up together. I've still got more money to save up and the tornado in Joplin, MO kinda through a kink in things temporarily but I'll be there someday.

Wow, I'm sorry you guys had to go through that. That was some of the most devastation I've ever seen.

If I were given enough time between jobs to make an event out of the drive it wouldnt be so bad!

Yea its a very long drive...I figured at 3700 miles that I would need at least 7 days just to get there. LOL
We feel very blessed. Although it caught my son and I off gaurd...we are fine. The noise was unbelievable and I still play it over and over again in my head. Others are much worse off than us. At least we survived it and all of our friends/family did too.

Ursus Arctos wandered into Bethel overnight and killed a dog in one of the subdivisions this morning. Silly ole bear!

The drive is awesome! I've done it twice now and would do it again in a heartbeat. Warpt has done it many times over I believe...

Yeah the drive up was great - easily the best part of the moving experience. The worst part was getting rid of most of my stuff and packing, while trying to tie up loose ends at school before I left. That was a pain.
