Rance -

I shoot, hunt, fish, etc myself fwiw; but when I discussed this movie with quite a few bunny-hugging, tree loving, Portland Hippies and they all thought he was nuts.

Editor’s note: In an effort to help educate the public on bear safety, the Clarion and Alaska Department of Fish and Game have teamed up to publish information on bear activity in the area. A new update will be provided each week.

Yeah...I know. When I lived in Arkansas years ago...you would not believe how friendly those hillbillies became when I broke out the brown bear pictures. They were spell bound! I was new to the area...but knew everyone by the end of the first week! I think they came from every direction for 10 miles to see my pictures! Some really good folks when your on their good side!
And a hand full of Alaskan wildlife pictures broke the ice very well.
