We have about 2 inches of fresh snow. I can now walk the dogs without walking like a penguin.

...Significant ice accumulation around southcentral Alaska...
Widespread freezing rain is falling around southcentral Alaska this
morning. Temperatures at the surface remain below freezing while
temperatures aloft remain much warmer. Rain that is falling is
freezing on contact and causing hazardous driving conditions.
Precipitation will taper off from the south this morning in Anchorage
and later this afternoon across the Matanuska Valley. The Susitna
Valley will see a much longer sustained period of precipitation
through Tuesday.
Temperatures will gradually warm later tonight as the next batch of
moisture arrives across southcentral Alaska. The potential for
another significant freezing rain event is possible again tonight
through Tuesday morning.

Wind storm again. Our paltry inch of snow is getting blown all over the place. My boyfriend's dad said he saw a junior high kid get picked up and dropped twenty feet away by one strong gust. About thirty degrees today. Weather Underground is predicting wind chills of -15 for tomorrow morning.

Windy here to. We got our first big (big enough to cover the ground) snow here last night. So with the wind and drifts everywhere we have blizzard like conditions, schools are closed.
I wonder if the folks up in the interior were prepared for the -30 and colder temps this morning? Burrr.. At lest there is not much wind with that. (:

I honestly thought the big window was going to blow in last night. Big wind. No damage as everything was indoors but wow!
