Nah, the supplier will pay for the excess fuel... but the Feds will be asked to pay for the removal from the ground big time and it will be worth tens of thousands per gallon recovered...

DEC has raised the estimated spill to 142,800 gallons

Diesel has now entered the waters at Adak...

Looks like the native corp is gonna be the responsible party...

" The Aleut Corp does not want any photos to leave the Island unless they have been censored by them "

Well I am not going to give my comment on that matter, as everyone knows how I feel about the natives and their ability to manage projects.

However, what I will say, is that its a damn shame that this great island is dieing its so beautiful.

Yes; we've been made quite clear on how you feel about the Natives, which is why I tossed you from my "friends" list here.

I don't have any issues with the natives... I mean one of my only friends in Bethel is native, I live with a Native, just the native higher ups who manage these projects no longer are looking out for native interests they are looking at dollars and cents.

Not to mention I have yet to see any long term native project that has shown success... oh except healthca--- oh wait sorry my native roomate got sent home the other day because he couldn't be seen by a doctor... Which also goes to prove my point that not even a small remote socialized healthcare thats funded by the ENTIRE United State can work functionally.

The Native Corp. in SE has actually done quite well by their shareholders.
