Regards to your fam in ND. I spent two years in Minot myself. Ducks and geese on the table every other day. Loved it!
I had been under the impression that a 150 grain bullet at 3000' per second bled 'em just fine...

I don't think Texans think much about Alaska to be honest. I doubt many of us are pissed.

I'm a native Texan, and I'm pretty impressed, to be honest.

Agreed. We are big enough and a bi**h to drive across - any bigger wouldn't make me happy. The fact that Alaska is bigger is cool - no big deal. Texas is bigger than Vermont - it doesn't make us better than Vermont. It goes both ways.

Now, if you want to know about how I feel concerning the foisting of Sarah Palin on us - now I am ticked off. Couldn't you have kept her?

Wait - we didn't foist Rick Perry on you! (I will keep very quiet now about the George Bush foisting - I guess we had it coming - never mind).

Yes I think the serving of Sarah Palin so far is about equal to the serving of George Bush that was foisted off on the rest of the Country. From now on it's no longer retribution but getting even. Pay back is always so sweet. You'll shoulda kept George in the corral.

I personally tried - I always voted opposite. And, no, not even Sarah is retribution enough to Texas for voting this man into a position to springboard into the presidency that almost brought down America.

Texas has better weather than Alaska. I know where I'd rather be.

(BTW Queensland is bigger than Alaska, and has better weather )
