Am looking into relocating to Albany and am wondering if Madison Ave. between Robin St & New Scotland Ave across from the park is a safe neighborhood for a single woman. If not, any suggestions?
Thanks!

Try the Lark Street area. That seems to be a popular area in the city of Albany.

Right on Madison? You'll be fine, the neighborhood behind it (Park South), can be pretty rough though.

Lark Street / Center Square is also a great pick!

Good luck!

Yes...it's right on Madison Ave. So this borders on a bad neighborhood? What about the 200s of Jay St? Thanks for the help!

It's a great neighborhood- Center Sq. I live one block over. Lots of restaurants, bars, close to bus lines, library, museums.
