Hey Mike, would you accept dog food and medication?

As some of the posters already know, we lost our friend of 12 years (Bear) almost two weeks ago. We have some of his arthritis/pain medication (one bottle not opened) and some dog food & treats... I'd like to donate them to a rescue association as Bear was also a rescued dog. The dog biscuits (almost a full Costco box) and three of his medications are open - Tramadol, Cosequin, prednizone (spelling may be off) and Rimadyl (we do have an unopened bottle of Rimadyl), but the dog food (a variety as Bear got really picky at the end - eating one brand one day and turning his nose up the next) is not. If you can use any of it, I'd love for your organization to have them in Bear's memory.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. We absolutely take donations of food and medication. Do you know where we're located. I'd love to see you out there.
Take NM 528 north from Albuquerque. (Coors north past the mall--it becomes NM528) Stay on NM 528 until you come to Iris and then turn left. Follow Iris until it ends in a "T" intersection and turn right onto the dirt road. Follow the signs to the ranch. You can find a map at our website watermelon mountain ranch.
Thanks very much and we look forward to seeing you.

Mike

This our wonderful pup we adopted from WMR. As you can see, she is very much the queen of couch potatoes. LOL

What a cutie AlisonL. My husband wants to be 'pet free' for a while so he isn't keen on my going to any rescue organization - I would take them all if I could, which is what he is afraid of! HAHA

Mike - I'll try to get out their this week. Thanks!

Thanks, that is our Chili. We love her to pieces.
I would (and have) brought home many in the past. Our saving grace right now is we are renting a small house, and don't have room for any more. When we buy a place, that is most likely to change.
We've already discussing adopting another dog from WMR when that happens.

If we were ready to adopt again I'd look at Moses - I used to be a sign language interpreter in TX... I can't imagine a deaf puppy would be much different in dealing with than deaf high school kids. tee hee
