Five Guys Burger Chain is coming to Albuquerque! They have posted their management positions in Albuquerque on craigslist. This is another good burger chain, far superior to McD's, Burger King, Carl's, and Jack in the Box.

Yea, where?

They used to have Five Guys Burgers in the VA and MD area. They were pretty good, at least they were 10 years ago. I really like a good burger, and Jack-In-The-Box does not create one....

is Five Guys a strictly burger chain or do they specialize in burgers but sell other things like an actual restaurant?

according to our son in law, it is as close to as good as INnOut but not quite, just what he said, we have never had one.

here is their website: Home Page | Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I'm not sure where they are building or how many at this point. But they are hiring their management team so I'm guessing more information will be available in a month or two.

We went to the new Five Guys in Madison, WI last June, the evening before we flew to Calif for our wedding. While in Calif, we had lunch at a In-N-Out. We live in NE Iowa about 90 min from Madison and go there quite a bit since my wife's two youngest grandbabies live in that area.

Both were good, the In-N-Out cost less, but we thought the Five Guys were markedly better. Since then, we've been back to Five Guys 3 more times.

Definitely a gain for ABQ!

The most important question, of course, is whether or not they will serve green chile.

I do not see it listed on their website menu.

Eh...the only 5 Guys I tried was in Clinton, Md about 2 miles from the base. The burgers were greasy on the outside and dry and grizzly on the inside. There was literally a ring of grease around top of the bag they came in. With so many way better choices in Abq, I will pass.
