Visited Anthem Brewery in OKC... Excellent stout, barrel-aged.

Double of 12 year Pappy Van Winkle, with one rock. Making me anxious for fall.

just finished my last wine for the night. Earlier I made a Martini, but didn't work too well. I used the olives daughter brought over for appetizers a few night ago. I didn't realize they were soaked in olive oil instead of vinegar. I even poured some of the juice in the glass. So much for a nice Sunday afternoon Martini

I tried a "caffe corretto" tonight. Straight espresso with a splash of grappa added. It was really interesting for a digestif after supper. Coffee flavour mixed with a very raisiny-tasting brandy. To me, it seemed very similar to dark chocolate. I enjoyed the flavours mixing together... nice little nightcap.
