Given the very low infection rates, the Dominican government eliminates immediately all Covid-19 restrictions. This includes the obligation of wearing a mask in public places, public transport, private places open to the public; showing the vaccination cards; social distancing; etc.
Though no longer obligatory, people are allowed to wear masks and such if they feel more comfortable, but as has been said it's no longer obligatory in the Dominican Republic. Normality is back in the DR.
