a poster at the St Cloud Times just gave a link to a USA Today article that has a oicture of Sheridan Bailey --President of Ironco in PHOENIX who states he raised his wages from --$15 per hour to $20 per hour---in hopes of finding legal workers.( and can't find them)

I guess I got a hard time believing legal workers would be unwilling to work for him for --$20 per hour-----(whether in Phoenix or anyplace else)

He sure is getting national attention, though.

I hope my boss reads it! Then she'll realize how valuable we are! She's actually come around quite a bit lately... for one reason or another...

Can you post a link? It looks like they lost 10 employees, but they were probabaly yard donks making minimum wage.

Maybe people don't want to apply because they want to wait and see if this law is really going to put an end to the illegals working here. Also, who can trust a boss that has been employing illegals?

Such a boss would have no credibility to me and I would look elsewhere for a job.

Are you being serious? "Who can trust a boss that has been employing illegals"?

Steel plant...?! Starts sounding fishy right here... Is there such an extinct thing in AZ?
Yes there are.

About four months ago I remember hearing a welding co owner crying on the news about losing his employees. If these guys would just toss in even minimal bennies on top of the salaries, they'll find help. Or just advertise back east.
