In irony, some guy smoking and hauling his kids, has a much more chance of having his kids killed by a drinker, than his own smoking.

Now what?

Do you suppose they will be screaming "Bloody Murder" and violations of rights?

I'll tell you what!

It isn't just smoking parents who need to be "guided" buy the government, it's ALL parents.

Should parents be allowed to ride a motorcycle or engage in other unnecessary risky behaviors?

No motorcycles, no mountain climbing, no skydiving......NO risky behavior allowed by parents of minor children.

In short, the government needs to get HANDS ON with all parents to make sure they are raising their children in safe, healthy environments.

The homes and personal lives of all parents should be closely scrutinized......for the children.

Same goes for food. Children have no choice but to eat what their parents provide.

Should parents be allowed to feed their children an unhealthy diet?

Why shouldn't the government get involved with what parents put on the table for their children?

After all, it's all about the health of children.

Well, after reading your posts basically making the same point over and over again that most of us got loud and clear at your 1st post on the topic, I'm starting to go to the other side from you and thinking we need an "irritating poster making the same point over and over again in multiple posts" law that will ban this type of behavior to help maintain the sanity of fellow city-data members who have to sift through such posts. I'm thinking for people who break this law, though no fine will be necessary, the book "how to influence people" will be required reading. And a test will follow. Multiple choice questions of course.

Actually the previous talk of one of those potentially "banned" alcoholic drinks, a beer, would probably hit the spot later today with these temps.
