Agreed. I like early summer the most, before the onset of the monsoon thunderstorms. Since May and June usually have single digit humidity, it helps moderate the heat, thus making it less severe than it would be if it were more humid. That being said, excessive dryness doesn't make dry heat any less dangerous than humid heat. Both are dangerous in their own right if precautions are not taken.

Winter and summer monsoon are the winners here so far. Not surprising considering that they are our two rainy seasons here in Arizona.

Foresummer Drought. In Tucson, it's the hottest and driest part of the year; but on the other hand it's the hottest and driest part of the year. The most characteristic season of the Sonoran Desert. University students and snowbirds are gone; you will have the entire city to yourself. Rates go down at resorts; Tucsonans can take staycations. Night skies are black and clear all the way to Mars. It's a pleasure to live at night.

For me it's Spring time* in the Valley

The smell of the blossoming fruit trees is priceless

( * ) The neatest thing is in AZ, a short drive anytime of
the year you can be in a totally different climate, a few
years back a group of us were off road riding off the I-17
and Table Mesa Rd. and were able to ride in all four seasons
in one day ! one of my buddies who is a native had never
experienced this.

We have more than one season in Phoenix?

Like others mentioned, the poll is too broad due to Arizona's different climates. I live in the Phoenix area and I would have picked autumn, winter, and spring,if we had the ability to select multiple choices, but we don't. If I lived in the high country between 5,000 and 7,500 feet ASL, I would have selected all seasons, I would not mind a little snow in the mix.
