I could really use some help on this topic. Last year my daughter and her family moved to Phoenix and in a effort to help my wife and I decided to purchase a house that they could live in and later for us as a retirement home. The move had to be done quickly so I used a real estate agent that came recommended by a friend of the family and did not do all the research that I should have and now I am finding out that it might not have been the best move of my life.The house is located in Cactus Park Estates on the intersection of Dysart & thunderbird across the street is Surprise BUT my address is el mirage and i now understand that is the kiss of DEATH.The area looked neat and clean and the police said the neighborhood was safe.The kids will be going to Glendale schools where my daughter teaches so school were not a issue for me (Was thinking retirement not resale).any thoughts would appreciated: :
