Curious on that comment myself... There is really no evidence to support it (near future seller's market). Its going to take a year or two IMO for the demand to catch up with supply, even with builders cutting back big time. Try and get something 5-10% under a RECENT appraisal in a good area and you should be OK.

i live in milwaukee,wi and am planning to move to arizona maybe in 2012. i want to know how easy it may be to find employment there and where's the best area to rent. also the crime rate because i do have a nine yr.and a 16 yr.old

I read that Phoenix is supposed to be one of the top places for job growth in 2011. Sorry, I can't find where I read that.

As for crime, see the following crime map:

You will see that home burglaries are big in Phoenix, some areas worse than others. Having your home wired with a good security system to deter criminals is a must anywhere. Many similar apartments and newer homes can be rented across the Phoenix area.
