Nope, it was called Peeples Valley, just north of Yarnell.

peeples valley az - Google Maps

There wasn't much there besides a gas station, where we met some really interesting, but nice people.

Felicity is actually in Cali, about 8 miles or so west of AZ (Yuma)
Of course, that is another weird one-- Yuma.

I live just a few blocks from Deadhorse Ranch State Park. I've lived here most of my life and I still don't know how it got it's name.

Haven't read the rest of the thread to see if anybody listed Nowhere, AZ. It's on the way to Roosevelt Lake from Phoenix. I used to live close to Skull Valley. Makes you wonder how these places get named.

I lived at Wilhoit for about a year. Just before you get to Peeple's Valley on the way to Yarnell. Not much there but I loved living there. Driving over the mountain to Prescott and back every day, not so much.

Bloody Tanks Wash, near present-day Miami. Site of a rather infamous 1864 battle between Apaches and white settlers.

Oh yes, roads. There's Sore Finger Road and, if you think about it enough it will sound funny: General Crook Trail

All my life General Crook Trail has been known as Zane Grey Hiway. We still call it that...except when we are giving tourists directions.

I was on my way to do a job in Flagstaff with a Mexican (resident alien) coworker. As we came up on this sign on the 17 he pointed, irritated, and said, "Why?! They mean same thing?!" Than proceeded to talk about how redundant the road name was for the next hour.
