^Palawan Island is not underrated in fact it is one of the most tourist spot in Mindanao. There are certain areas in Mindanao that is not easy to get in.

I think your place is not underrated in Western Visayas. Mindanao there are some places that is not that easy to get in & you know that. Davao City, I guess is not underrated as well as Zamboanga.

I've been to Iloilo twice. The first time because I'd never been there, and the second time because I was passing through once again. On the second visit, I wondered why I'd ever bothered.
There really isn't a reason to visit Iloilo. I definitely wouldn't say it's underrated. Korean students go there because they like malls and its a bit safer to study English there than a city like Manila.

Iloilo is known for its old Spanish churches and buildings, one of them being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But if you're not an architecture and history person, I guess you'll not enjoy it there.
