If Taiwan can offer enough to workers, some Taiwanese don't have to work in Australia, Japan, Mainland China, HK and Macau. In Macau alone, there are high concentration of Taiwan youths working, attracted to the city by the high wage. HK's financial industry has many Taiwanese applicants but not accepting many applicants. Some Taiwanese are earning higher in Shanghai, Dongguan and Shenzhen. Many Taiwan youths use working holiday visas to work in Australia. A Scandinavian doesn't have to go overseas to have higher income.
The wage of airliner pilots are attractive to pilots in South Korea and Taiwan. Popular celebrities leave Taiwan and HK for mainland china because income of actors and actresses are many times higher than Taiwan and HK. Not all occupations and businesses in mainland China earn less. The Chinese visiting other countries belong to the middle or rich class. Some Chinese don't have to work because the whole village became rich due to various reasons.
