Do any Atheists carry U.S. money since it says 'IN GOD WE TRUST' on them? Just curios because they don't trust in God, so I assume they pay credit card/check only? (Please don't tell me which God, because you know which one I'm talking about)

Thnx for sharing...

No....I use Canadian money only, and god is not mentioned. You see, in Canada we are smart enough to separate commerce and politics from mythology.

Do you think we have our own currency?

No, money is money and just because somebpdy decided to stick a slogan on it that doesn't apply to me does not mean I will not use and spend it.

Also during my travels I've also spent euros and Brazilliam reals. I dont care what is printed on it, long as it gets me my goods.

This illustrates why that motto should be taken off of the currency. It is a defacto government support of a particular religion, and is therefore unconstitutional.

Of course atheists in the US use US currency. What choice do we have?

What is the point behind your question?

If you had searched the forum before starting a thread, you would have found it has been thoroughly hashed out in previous threads.

Seriously, c'mon, do atheists have a choice???

There are many people who post here that will offer intelligent and informative responses. You will get such responses by asking intelligent and appropriate questions.

Thank You.

Do Christians use a different calendar because they don't believe in the Roman gods that the months are named after?

Just because you mark it out doesn't mean it's not truth. There is a GOD in heaven, a idiot in the white house, and apparently a few strewn everywhere. Crazy questions, get crazy answers.
