Well actually there is a probability that UFOs (meaning the vehicles of intelligent life forms from other planets) may actually exist. Mathematically the probability is very high, the question is really not if they probably exist, but have they ventured into our tiny little part of the universe.

The others, including those refereed to as gods by some, probability zero.

The only one that might not be harmless would be a UFO containing aliens who don't even view us as intelligent, or bring some new microbe that inadvertently kills us all.

On the other side, the gods, any and all of them are harmless, but some of the followers of these imaginary gods pose the greatest danger to the future of our species has ever faced, and represent a clear and present danger.

Wars based on beliefs in these gods has plagued our species for centuries, and continues to do so today, and we are in a couple of them right now. My deity can beat up your deity, but since they don't exist, we have to try and kill each other to settle this. Now if that ain't as stupid as it can get, I don't know what is.

Kind of like Windows 7.

Whether it's the old version or the updated version, there is no evidence there is a god.

I am not an atheist because I don't like the old god of the bible, I am an atheist because I do not believe in ANY deity whatsoever.
Exactly

You are stuck with your concept of God that is what very ancient peoples pictured God to be.

Better brush up on today's concept of God from peoples who know God today.
My concept of your deity is so very clear and simple.

Simply does not exist, there ain't no new one(s) or old one(s), but is the greatest hoax that has ever been pulled on mankind. You go on to some carefully worded insults, while you represent a practitioner of some old tales.

Knew a guy that draped a bag of rock salt over his power meter because he heard it would slow the meter, thus save him money. Your belief system, in my opinion, is right up there with hanging a bag of rock salt over your power meter.

Some people have phrased it so much better than I typically can:
Quote:
I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours. – Stephen Roberts

What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof. – Christopher Hitchens
