That's why I'm not really into watching professional sports. In the end it's a business, and the hometown loyalty is pretty much measured by money.

I'm not a hockey fan and have never seen a game but I liked the fact we had a hockey team. Just for business and entertainment reasons I like the idea of several professional sports teams located here. So, I was frustrated to hear about this. And reading about Atlanta Spirit is enough to get my blood boiling.

I was not emotionally invested in the Thrashers, but I am emotionally invested in Atlanta and I am sorry the Thrashers left Atlanta. I hate it for their fans and I think it will have a negative impact on Atlanta's reputation as a pro sports town. It is not as big a deal as if something happened to the Braves, Falcons or Hawks, but it does stink.
