Ola Glauco! Brazil is my fav vacation destination! If you choose ATL, welcome! Like stated by others, in Marietta, there is a large Brazilian network. I actually go to the gym with a lot of guys from Brazil. There are tons of Brazilian stores, markets and restaurants. The Powers Ferry corridor has a lot of places that will seem familiar to you. Good luck with the move!

I would try to get a job that pays over 5K a month gross if you are supporting 3 kids and a wife and live near Marietta/Cobb county. If it were just you alone, 5K would be absolute monthly wage. Minimum yearly salary to me for your family would be 65-75K gross. Costs here add up quickly if you do not have much of a reserve of money to bring. Daycare is expensive. If, for example, your wife was working here and making $10-14 an hour, that wage would just pay for day care alone. Good luck!

Well, actually the average salary for my position is U$ 115.000,00. So, for the research I've been doing, I think I can afford living in those areas. But thanks anyway for the info.

Concernig my wife, I don't mind her working only to pay the day care. As a matter of fact, she wants to work (she already works full time here in Brazil) only because she won't stand living there and doing "nothing" all day long. Of course, if she can make some money, I won't mind
