Maybe a silly question...however, will the street car run only one direction? For example, if I am a tourist and I have just visited the Georgia Aquarium, will I be forced to take the streetcar all the way down Edgewood ave in order to get back to peachtree center?

At risk of too much self-promotion, I made a Google Map showing the route of the streetcar based on the public information available at the time (official maps seem hard to find recently for some reason). Route1 is the line that's currently under construction and runs in a counter-clockwise loop. I've also marked the planned Peachtree Street route, and a route of my own creation intended to serve Georgia Tech. So to answer Frankster87's question more directly, no, it doesn't appear you would have to go all the way down Edgewood avenue, but it looks like you would have to transfer where Auburn meets Peachtree.
