Maybe Notre Dame knocking off a top ten team on the road will change some people's perspective a little bit.

Im back in the northeast after ten years in Atlanta. The thought of Notre Dame joining the ACC in football is very intresting to me becouse they have always been very popular here. Georgia Tech is also fairly popular here. I was suprised at how many people here have freinds and relatives in Atlanta. This could pave the way for the ACC to be a league for the whole east coast not just the south coast.

When the majority of your conference is comprised of North Carolina, Duke, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Boston College, Maryland, NC State, Virginia, Miami, Clemson, VT and Florida State.... good luck with that one.
So Miami winning more national championships than anyone else in the SEC besides Alabama doesn't mean anything. Before you say it, Yes, they won those while in the Big East, but that program still is one of the most prestigious in college football. Everyone has their downs, eg: Alabama in the late 90's and 2000's. College football national championships in NCAA Division I FBS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Notre Dame to the ACC, but not in football? It’s still a big deal | Mark Bradley

But not as a full member...but close. Notre Dame will play all sports but football. But in football, they'll at least play 5 ACC teams.

The last time ND played at Tech, the GT campus was crazy with activity. The only thing that tops it is the Georgia/Georgia Tech game. Now that's insane, especially at night.
Was always curious why they never got that game in the dome.

Not to mention he picks the team that lost their coach and half of their team last year. Go figure. Everyone knows the ACC sucks as a football conference, not even an argument there.

You obviously know nothing about sports. Stick to race baiting the board. At least you are good at that.

...and was ranked #8 when they lost to UL-Monroe of the Sun Belt Conference. That's the one I picked. It's okay for someone to pick out a bad loss by the ACC, but it's "not even an argument" when someone does the same to your precious SEC. It works both ways, you know.
