I've been cited with a superspeeder in Dunwoofy, Gwinett county (going 90 in a 55 zone...careless, I know) about a month ago. My court date is coming up. The total fine would come out to $525 as it is and I would really like to do anything possible to avoid that. I've already taken a driving course so I intend to show it to the judge. I was wondering if anyone could give me any more tips for tackling this citation? Maybe whether I should plead nolo vs. pleading guilty, or looking at other options/avoiding it altogether? Any relevant experiences here? Thanks.

There is a Licence Surcharge also ($200 I think ) . And you auto insurance will almost certainly go up.

I would strongly suggest getting a lawyer... Try to plea it down below the superspeeder limits.

The surcharge is accounted for- actual ticket is $325..Getting a lawyer probably won't save me any money honestly.

Dunwoody has a road signed for 55? Dunwoody has a road straight enough to do 90 without turning a car into small metal fragments?

285 is 65. Still 90 is too fast.

Unless the sign was changed to 55 so that might explain his ticket.

35 over, someone has to pay for the Tahoe's in Dunwoody .
