Not tripping on the Boston fans. They are used to winning championships in every sport so they will always think that way

Your comment makes no sense. The Globe sportswriter is the one that is downplaying the Falcons. Hmm…I wonder how many snaps he will be playing in the game? I wonder how much impact his downplaying will have on the game?

If you have followed Belichick or Brady over the years, you know they do not downplay opponents. They often rave about their opponents. They never talk pre-game trash like other teams do.

If you think the Pats players and coaches are downplaying the Falcons, then you obviously know nothing about that organization.

Falcons fans are falling hard for this troll job. Even people in Boston don't like Shaughnessy. His shtick is riling up fan bases. He's been writing this type of column for years, whether it be about Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, etc.

Don't feed the troll.

Im talking about Boston fans and their media.. Most of them feel that this will be an easy game because we are the Falcons. Some are acting like this will be a scrimmage game lol. Hopefully that will rub off on some of them

Hard to blame them, fieldm. Boston has a long history of winning and Atlanta has a long history of losing when it comes to pro sports. But, I think that they (the Boston fans) will be sorely disappointed come two weeks. Go Falcons!

Not sure who your source is. I've been listening to Boston sports radio most of the week and while they are confident they can win, they certainly think it will be a very tough game and have a lot of respect especially for Ryan (BC alum) and Julio.
