Im curious how Lingburgh looks at 10pm. I think there are vew bars/clubs over there.

Plus Marta doesnt run late enough either. The Friday & Saturday night trains could be adjusted to run til 3 I guess.
Thing is most of the people ITP are close to the nightlife so its mostly easier for them to drive instead of waiting on MARTA. If fking Cobb and Gwinnett had heavy rail connecting to MARTA that would be cool but for the most part its easier just to drive or take MARTA especially if you live OTP. Its probably still easier if someone wanted to bar hop from Midtown Station, Peachtree Center, etc with Uber instead of waiting for the train. Screw the nightlife Id rather have later MARTA hours just for all the 3rd shift workers with no transportation.

I think the Gulch would make a good central entertainment district with live music venues that caters to more than generic hip hop, edm, etc. I would love of a more Latin, Jazz, Country, Caribbean, and Soulful live music mix without driving all over the place.
I passed by a country music club out off 75 in Kennesaw the other day called Electric Cowboy and its open until 4am

Cool thing about Atlanta is there's always something going on so you never feel like you're gonna miss anything.

WMATA Metro - Rail
Weekday: 5am-12am
Weekend: 7am-12am
And that's if that line is even open.
MBTA MBTA > Riding the T
Weekday: 5am-1am
Weekend: 5am-1am
BART https://www.bart.gov/guide
Weekday: 4am-12am
Weekend: 6am-12am
LAMATA https://www.metro.net/riding/maps/
LA Metro has Friday and Saturday late night service running until 2:30am
Miami Metro Metrorail - Miami-Dade County
Weekday/Weekend: 5am-12am

I respectfully disagree. It's not a myth. I wouldn't say that trains stopping after 1 is pretty late. Many would argue that the fun's just begun around that time. With that being said, from 1 a.m.-4:45 a.m., there would be a time where people wouldn't be able to get around. Some people may want to leave a party at 3 or 3:30 and can't because there aren't any trains running.

The buses are even worse. Some stop before midnight and most others before 1 a.m. I would say that there are many many places in Atlanta that you would need a bus to get to but if bus service stops running after 12:30, you are out of luck.

I have actually had to depend only on MARTA at one point in my life and it really did kill my social life. Uber wasn't around back then and even if it was, I wouldn't have been able to afford it. You need a car in Atlanta to experience the nightlife.

Actually the last train might leave around 1:15am depending on the MARTA station but yeah I agree. It could be worse though. Look at Houston, Miami, Bmore, etc system. At least you can start your night out on MARTA and Uber it home.

You need a car to experience nightlife in every city except NYC. Lets not act like most cities have 24/7 train access
