Anyone familar with Durham Lakes subdivision in Fairburn?
We like some of the homes in the division but we are really concerened about the area, where do people go shopping? grocery? Is this an up and coming area or does it have a long way to go, the area seems to be somewhat industrial? comments/feedback?

I don't know if there are any new homes over there, but if it's a resale you should be able to get a great deal. My wife and I were looking at homes over there. It isn't too.. too far from 85 which will be good if you have to travel in-town. The subdivision isn't far from downtown Fairburn but that's mostly little stores. I imagine you'd have to travel to Union City (Shannon Mall) or to 92 where the new Publix is to go food shopping.

Best thing to do is take a saturday and stake out the neighborhood - you'll definitely learn some things.

Best,
Lou
