My wife and I are HGTV binge watchers. I've been watching the new FoF ATL since it premiered and man we completely hate it. For me it doesn't do a good enough job highlighting the beauty of the areas they're shopping and the couple themselves leave a lot to be desired...especially the guy

Maybe Chip and JoAnna Gaines set the bar too high on Fixer Upper

Glad to see that the Tucker episode was brought up as I thought the same thing as posted here. Not only did they not highlight Tucker in a good light, but the inspector was burned as well. It definitely may not have been the intention of the couple/stars but some editing - you know how drama sells.

The house turned out well and it's great it sold for over asking.

I am trying to get interested in this show but having a difficult time.

I'm interested because it's the metro I live in and they feature homes most normal people can afford. I could care less about someone with a 600k budget somewhere I've never lived just because the husband/male star acts goofy.

You gotta admit that Waco is a bargain, though.

Then the property tax bill arrives and one begins to question if one really "owns" anything. It's what, 2.5-3%?
