I agree. But if it has to be misclassified, I’d prefer it a suburb as opposed to a neighborhood— which irritates the crap out of me when I hear it.

We do have some great suburbs here. I live in Chamblee and love it, and it's only getting better.

If real estate prices weren't an issue, I'd probably have to go with Decatur though. It's always been my favorite.

I wouldn't even call it a borough, just an area of the City of Atlanta that encompasses multiple neighborhoods.

It is what you say. I think Atlanta calls it a “community.”

However, it somewhat functions like a borough.

I've always thought a borough was a distinct governmental unit, which Buckhead has never been.

A district. That’s the best way to describe it, I believe. Some do call it a community, which is also dumb. A “community” that has the skyline comparable to metro areas with 30 to 40x the population?
