No. Yet your post was immature and showed that you are in fact a hater that has nothing better to do. You also just admitted Atlanta was not a world class city yet you were arguing the whole time that Atlanta is a world class city. Don't flip flop because you made yourself look like a total and complete bigot. You also just admitted that DC was a world class city so thank you for that. The fact that you said DC has aids which is in fact Baltimore not DC shows your maturity and you're truly a homer. Oh, Atlanta has better music festivals and concerts? I doubt that but that's subjective, that was a bad time to make that argument with Valor concert just two days ago. I could make a list of what DC trumps Atlanta in but I'll save you the embarrassment since you already embarassed yourself.
Also, you're a truly wrong again because DC doesn't have bad traffic because we are not a car city. We have the metro, you must mean the DC suburbs? People who live in DC barley own a vehicle unlike Atlanta. Nobody in this forum gives a F about DC yet you had multiple people take the time out of there day just to respond to your comment so they could tell you how ignorant you are. After reading your post, I had to pour holy water in my eyes. Enough said, in the end you looked like the true idiot. In the end I looked like the bad betch that I am *flips hair*.

Atlanta doesn't want to be any other city? Yet you call yourself the NYC of the south? BAHAHAHAHA
Thank you very much. Have a safe weekend! Don't forget your coat because it's cold outside.

You must have me confused; I have absolutely no "history of hating DC." And the GAWC ranking you're referring to also lists Atlanta as an Alpha world city, yet you're arguing that it's not world class so obviously that must not be a good source to use.

And point me to objective sources that say that DC beats Boston in almost every aspect. Boston is a good bit more urban, more historic, more cultured, more diverse, has world-class universities, great healthcare, better restaurants, etc. DC definitely wins in transit and the sheer amount of museums, but otherwise?

The crackhead comment just finished this argument itself. No one can argue with the ignorant

Alpha, Beta and Gamma cities (updated 2014) | Experience cities like a local!

Boston is not more of a world class city than Washington DC. Here's the link you wanted because apparently you're right? Ok, yes Atlanta is world class but not in the same league as DC and now DC will move up to Alpha + because of the shopping and downtown and fastly growing economy. I have no problem saying I was wrong and owning up to it.... Atlanta is a world class city but everything else I said was right so

Also if you think the only thing DC has to offer is muesems and transit then you should just stop posting about DC. Like I said DC beats Boston in many aspects, I went to college in Boston.

People who use GaWCC as the end all, be all for world class level make me laugh especially since the person who made the list publicly came out and said it was a list of cities who had high connectivity to London.

Most lists generally have Atlanta somewhere between 30-40 in a world scale.

Again, using the GAWC list to indicate "world class"-ness is flawed and you've just proven it. I think Atlanta falls shy of being "world class" but there's no objective way to prove--or disprove--"world class"-ness.

And I didn't say that the only thing DC had to offer is museums and transit; I only mentioned them as two of the few areas in which DC beats Boston.

Boston is not more of a world class city than DC. DC beats Boston in every other world class city ranking without GAWC. DC also beats Boston in many aspects not just "a few."

Education - tie, Boston has better universities but DC has a higher educated populace and trumps even more as a metro area.
Economy - DC, not comparable
Transportation - DC, no question
Food scene - Boston, no question. DC food scene is very pathetic for a world class city
Muesems - DC, this doesn't have to be explained
International and national influence - DC, one of the most powerful cities in the world.
Tourism - DC, no question
Shopping - Boston
Architecture - Boston, although DC has beautiful architecure as well
Cosmopolitan - DC
Historic - Tie
Affluent - DC
Power - DC, no question
Sports - DC, has all four sports but the red socks are still a more historically known team.
International significance - DC, it's the capital
