Hello everyone, I think the property should be developed into more convention space and a potential replacement for the James Brown Arena. As I have stated I do not agree with giving prime real estate to GRU especially when they have so much potential land to develop on the other campuses.

What do you think?

Also another great idea, but if I were to redux the GGHF I would make it a multiblock park and I would also incorporate a possible Masters Hall of Fame or Walk of fame into the mix.

I hope that's a joke... That's a horrible idea. Bring back a failure, why exactly?

The only possible worse idea would be turning the 17 acres into a parking lot.

It was a good idea just planned wrong. It should have been as I stated multiblock and more open to the public. If it was like say Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta wide and spread out amongst multiple blocks I think it would have been more successful.

That sounds good. That way it would act as a centralized riverfront park for the city.

With the river levee blocking the view I say we should use the canal.

I have attached a map of where I think a potential GGHF or Masters Walk of Fame could go. It would also incorporate Enterprise Mill into the development.

The land should be taken away from GRU. That land should be for private development. It appears Azziz doesn't plan to make a significant move on that land anytime soon. Gardens? Augusta doesn't have enough tourism to support it. A Master's Champion/Hall of Fame walk sounds excellent. Either put it on the riverwalk or Broad St. Also, I'd like to see some of those statues on the riverwalk.

How about a historic path that leads to each statue with the path being blocks engraved with past champions. The entire thing could be in the shape of a golf ball with a museum located in the center.

That's what I'm starting to think the GGHF should have been all along. A public-private funded museum. Give folks a chance to see the things they never could. Maybe even touch a green jacket. Golf themed restaurant. During Master's week hold some sort of gala and parade.
