Hi,

We just moved from NJ (Philly) last month. We used Atlas Van Lines, based out of Moorestown, NJ. They were constantly in contact throughout the whole process. We packed most, they packed furniture, pictures, odd pieces. We had approx 13,400lbs. We received everything in 6 days for $8500. Movers charge a lot to transport cars (2000-3000). I used B & T Transport based out of CA. My car was picked up & delivered in 4 days for $895 (open carrier truck), without any damage.

Do make sure you get a binding estimate (Ours was not & we had to pay the max, the orig. quoted $7400.) Its funny, because all estimates I got were for about the same amount (12,000 lbs).

Good Luck - You will love this area!

I used Clancy Moving (Clancy Moving Systems, Inc. - Agent for United Van Lines, Inc.). They were very good and did not charge for moving out from 5th and moving to 3rd floor. There were no suprises at all.
