Ok, thanks. We have Verizon Fios and they charge $5 per box per month, so it doesn't seem worth it to change.

And just so people reading this aren't confused, Verizon Fios is not available in the Austin area.

Uverse is though. I hate their billing tactics, changing dates and stopping sending ebills, but the actual product is decent 4 channel dvr works great.

I had similar experiences to what you describe with TWC and changed over several years ago.
