I just put in a bid for a house in Morningside Meadows subdivision in Round Rock and would love to hear opinions and facts. It is a gated community with no pool, I'm hoping there is a community one close by... does anyone know?

I'm retiring from the military this July and can't wait to live back in Texas again, been in over 24 years and NOT once did I get stationed near home (I'm originally from Corpus but didn't want to live down there).

I live nearby. I don't recall any of it being gated. I could be mistaken. The closest public pools are Clay Madsen (indoor) and Rock N'River (a kiddy pool). My kids have a few friends who live over there. I like it

Yeah, Morningside Meadows is not gated. There is also a Pflugerville public pool near by.

I love the big lots in that neighborhood. The 3 car garage 1 story homes are great also. I looked at a 3 car 1 story on MLS this morning for 199.900, .39 acre. I hope when we can finally move there, they have one of these for sale.

i live in this neighborhood and love it.
not gated
no " community " pool.
this neighborhood was built in 98
as a planned subdivision.
be informed 98% of the houses have a low pressure
dose septic system in the back yards.

Red Bud Trail has become somewhat noisy with the growth in SE Round Rock.
