I was being facetious.

Everyone knows it is illegal to discharge a firearm (or even a BB gun) within the city limits, except for a few strictly defined purposes (legal gun range, self defense, etc.).... as was mentioned in the report.

But unfortunately there are plenty of numbnuts around who don't think the law applies to them.

It is also legal to shoot on a property of a certain size.

1 - Yes, criminals - and the idiots who fire their guns in the air on the 4th & New Year's.

2 - That's why the "etc." is included. (But I couldn't recall how much acreage is the minimum.... 50 acres?)
