It was an election year. I know the sheriff was up for re-election. Can't remember if the DA was as well. Lots of speculation around here that because of the election and the big name was why it even went to a grand jury. Just glad folks around here have some brains!

No toxicology for Tony because he's alive. Toxicology tests and reports are done on dead people when the coroner is involved.
Apparently, you didn't read about how the grand jury works around this area. Our grand juries serve for 3 months at a time. They did not hear evidence for a day and made a decision the same day. They listened to evidence for a week if I remember correctly.
