I don't think any reporter who knows TS accused him of murder, it was more likely some stick and ball reporter who hates NASCAR.Lots of them out there and they don't count.

The press didn't straight out accuse him of murder, but did straight out vilify him.

I didn't see any of that. Maybe bringing up the fact that he has had several incidents involving his anger and interactions with others is hammering in your eyes, I just call that reporting. They are just saying what most people who know him/about him are thinking. Everybody wants to know people's background and history when stuff like this goes down. It is just human.

It was an election year. I know the sheriff was up for re-election. Can't remember if the DA was as well. Lots of speculation around here that because of the election and the big name was why it even went to a grand jury. Just glad folks around here have some brains!

No toxicology for Tony because he's alive. Toxicology tests and reports are done on dead people when the coroner is involved.

Apparently, you didn't read about how the grand jury works around this area. Our grand juries serve for 3 months at a time. They did not hear evidence for a day and made a decision the same day. They listened to evidence for a week if I remember correctly.

No; it not rare ;at least here. most dead by highway are grand jury cases They often have also to decide charge of murder with recklessness or criminal negligence in such cases. Where the charges is capital murder it also goes to grand jury here. All police involved deaths here. I don't think other than why ward might have gone into the track that his marijuana levels where even important in decision.Minds trying to talk about what only the grand jury heard is what is rotten; IMO.
